Meet the Founder
The Irish Nail Network was built out of a lack of support and community in this industry. It started as a simple TikTok, just looking for “nail besties”. But very quickly, it became clear how many techs across Ireland were feeling the same way — working alone, guessing, struggling, with no real space to ask questions, troubleshoot, or learn together. TINN grew because it was needed.
From the beginning, it was shaped by the incredible people who believed in it and showed up. It took on a life of its own, driven by a community that wanted better for themselves and for the industry.
I started like so many others — with a cheap kit, doing my own nails from the age of 17. I loved the work, but I didn’t have the confidence to take the leap into building my dream business for far too long. I learned the hard way. I made mistakes. I figured things out through trial and error. I never want new techs to have to do that alone. TINN exists so people feel supported, encouraged, and informed — from day one.
This industry can sometimes feel competitive, especially locally. But other nail techs aren’t the problem. The real issue is unregulated salons, unsafe practices, and poor standards that damage trust for everyone. That’s what we stand against. By working together, sharing knowledge, and educating both ourselves and our clients, we raise standards for the whole industry.
I’m incredibly proud of the community that has grown here — the support, the honesty, the willingness to help each other. Seeing everyone together at events, in the same room, learning and connecting, is something I’ll never take for granted. TINN is built on care, professionalism, and community and it always will be.
